Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in Arlington, Virginia. This role is crucial in our corporate and commercial sector, where you will be tasked with managing contracts, overseeing corporate governance, and handling general corporate issues in a hybrid work setting. Responsibilities: • Organize and actively manage external agreements • Implement new capabilities and functionalities related to contract management • Oversee corporate governance, including the preparation of board resolutions and minutes • Maintain and manage corporate records • Handle annual reports and assessments, including managing vendors • Manage a portfolio company encompassing 35-40 corporate entities. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Paralegal • Demonstrable knowledge of Corporate & Commercial law • Proficient in legal research and preparation of legal documents • Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases at any given time • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field • Familiarity with legal software and databases • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an equivalent certification • Demonstrated ability to adhere to legal standards and regulations.
