Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Paralegal to join our team. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, this role will be executed remotely, with the exception of one initial day in-office for system training and laptop collection. As a Paralegal, you will be integral in the management of discovery, maintenance of litigation defense files, and the coordination of calendars. Responsibilities: • Manage discovery processes including initiating and responding to discovery requests • Maintain and organize litigation defense documents and files • Handle non-party requests in a timely and efficient manner • Oversee the scheduling and organization of calendars • Ensure the accurate processing and maintenance of customer credit applications • Monitor customer accounts and undertake necessary actions • Utilize Outlook, Word, and Smokeball software proficiently • Experience with billables is essential, particularly in the context of insurance defense. Requirements • Must have defense litigation experience • Ability to track and meet billable hour requirements • Preferred 2+ years of law firm experience • This role will require the ability to work independently and in a team environment • Previous exposure to Smokeball software a plus!
