About the Opportunity:
As an Intermediate/Senior Real Estate Paralegal/Conveyancer, you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own file load and work closely with both clients and the firm’s legal team. You’ll also serve as a resource for junior staff, sharing your knowledge and providing guidance on complex matters. About the Position:
Your key duties will include:Receiving and reviewing instructions from realtors and lendersConducting due diligence and obtaining applicable searchesLiaising with other parties, including clients, purchasers, solicitors, and financial institutionsDrafting correspondence, security documents, and various legal documentsManaging all aspects of closings, including scheduling, coordinating receipt of closing documents and funds, reviewing final documentation, and conducting title searchesPreparing final reporting and completing final due diligenceRequirements:5+ years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, banking, financing, and lending transactionsDemonstrated knowledge of relevant procedures, statutes, rules, and regulationsStrong communication skills and ability to work professionally with clients and stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple files with attention to detail and organizationTeam-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with lawyers and staffTechnological proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with e-conveyance, iManage, and Adobe is an assetCompensation:$70,000 - $90,000 base per annum (based on experience)Comprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive team environmentFirm events and staff appreciation activitiesWork-life balance
