Panelshop Technician I

Our client, a leader in the electrical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Panelshop Technician I to join their team. As a Panelshop Technician I, you will be part of the Switchgear Modernization Panelshop supporting a dynamic team of senior technicians and engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Assist senior technicians or engineers in manufacturing, assembly, wiring, and testing of custom-designed products following established procedures and safety protocols. Perform routine inspections, tests, and quality inspections on electrical equipment. Troubleshoot wiring issues using digital multimeters, manuals, and technical documentation, collaborating with senior technicians or engineers as needed. Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures at all times, maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
