As a Painter Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be operating a paint spray gun that utilizes compressed air to apply paint evenly to surfaces, often requiring skills like mixing paint accurately, adjusting spray patterns, masking areas, and maintaining the equipment to achieve a quality finish. You will ensure that all painting activities are completed in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
\nYou will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location.
\nThe industrial spray painter will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel or epoxy using sophisticated equipment systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nOperate assigned equipment and working in paint booth.\nRespirator use required pending successfully passing medical evaluation.\n\n\nProper handling of paint and chemicals per OSHA regulations\nEnsure data quality and compliance with established standards through accurate recordkeeping and good documentation practices\nPerform painting and coating operations on various products and components\nEnsure that all painting activities are completed in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications\nPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer\nBe capable of reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedures, and maintaining sprayer equipment as required\nMonitor and maintain inventory of painting supplies and materials\nStanding for extended periods of time at job station\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
