Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. The work model for the role is: #Li_onsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India. You will be mainly accountable for:•Develop and expand the Paint Upgrade business in India, analyzing the installed base of paint robots and equipment to identify opportunities and create strategies for market growth.•Collaborate with the Paint Project team (INPPA) and global teams (Japan ABB and Global System SAS) to implement and execute paint upgrade initiatives.•Drive business performance by achieving key targets, including order booking, revenue, collections, and order gross margin.•Research and apply best practices from successful implementations in other countries, adapting them to the Indian market.•Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, risk review processes, and global standards for safety, environment, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications for the role

A BE(electrical/ electronic / mechatronics) qualification including 8+ years in robotics customer service and 4-5 years in paint processes and systems.Hands-on experience with paint robots, applications, and robotic sales; familiarity with ABB Robots and Robot Studio is an added advantage.Proficiency in PLC systems, logic, communications, field buses, and other robotic peripheral equipment, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical software and hardware.Strong business development skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently while adapting to new technological changes.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a professional, assertive (but not aggressive) approach to building relationships.Comfortable with extensive travel and experienced in using SAP, SFDC, and other relevant tools.
