PACS/Lead CT
This dual role combines technical expertise in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) with hands-on proficiency as a Licensed CT Technologist. The position is pivotal in managing digital archiving, retrieval, and display of diagnostic images to ensure seamless access for healthcare providers. The role requires a unique blend of imaging knowledge and computer skills, enabling effective communication with radiologists and a deep understanding of user needs. The role of the PACS Administrator will be handling frequent and time-sensitive requests for moving images and reports between multiple systems. These critical tasks require rapid execution by a licensed technologist to meet immediate clinical needs. They are central to the role of the PACS Administrator, who ensures operational efficiencies and adherence to patient care standards. Conversely, managing intricate interfaces that connect radiology information systems such as Fuji Synapse and Powerscribe with our three EHR systems is a technical challenge that extends beyond the traditional skill set of PACS administrators. This role demands a specialized IT skill set focused on ensuring seamless integration and functionality across these platforms, which is vital for these systems' continuous support and maintenance.
