Perform duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to management. Act as a role model for Safety on the shift. Participate in safety programs by reporting Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts and Close Calls; enter Near Miss data and Observations into Global Data Center database (GDC)Review order specifications for the order running on the line to ensure accuracy and report any deviation from order requirements to line operatorTake rolls off the spindle, check roll edge quality, and properly stack rolls onto skidLoad and align cores properly onto the spindlePerform quality checks as trained to make sure product meets order specificationsPerform housekeeping procedures as assignedWrap and package skids according to order specificationsEnsure materials are set up for the order and for incoming personnel (boxes, skids, cores, or other needed material)Wear all personal protective equipmentOther tasks as assigned by Management, Supervisor or Lead Qualifications Ability to use hand tools and measuring instrumentsAbility to wear all required PPE (steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and other PPE as required)Ability to lift up to 65lbsAbility to read and understand work ordersKnowledge in navigating different computer programsAbility to communicate with other employees Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
