Responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of quality cheese products.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production linePerform manual packaging tasks such as bagging/wrapping/labeling/boxing/palletizingRestock packaging materials into machines such as boxes/tape/glue/filmMonitor production flow, remove bad product as needed and potentially reapply it to the lineEnsure documentation performed is in accordance with policies and proceduresEnsure product quality through multiple inspections/tests and documentation of those activitiesSet up, adjust, monitor and perform general operating maintenance on production equipmentReport noncompliance of production issues to the leadership teamsValidate ingredients and material used in the production processEnsure paperwork and inventory systems transactions are accurately completed and performed in a timely mannerHandle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation dutiesOther duties as assigned

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and understand instructions.Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.Work in a safe and efficient manner.Requires regular attendance.Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipmentAble to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standingAbility to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
