Job responsibilities:

Troubleshooting, identifying problems, and repairing machines. Operate Electrical pads, electrical diagrams Pneumatic systems, electro/solenoid valves, gearbox service, tabulator. Perform preventative maintenance routines to avoid prolonged downtime for corrective maintenance. Respond to maintenance requests and track work orders. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical and material handling equipment. Identify, manage and maintain an updated list of critical parts. Support process improvement to achieve lower production cost (improves maintenance efficiency). Comply with the policies and procedures established for the department and the company. Knowledge of Machinery with automated control systems. Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and manufacturing processes. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Supervise Personnel. Know and apply good maintenance practices. Comply with safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer or related career. At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance position or related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Preferred skills:

Personnel Management Document Control Planning, managing and prioritizing work Proficiency in Google work space, particularly forms, Excel and Drive. AutoCAD, PLC, Solid Works HACCP knowledge. Knowledge and handling of scales. Knowledge and handling of metal detector.
