GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for leading and directing the daily operations in the packaging area to ensure production standards are met while producing Safe, Quality Food.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Assure paperwork is complete, correct, and timely Follow schedule sequence, ensuring on-time starts and efficient changeovers Monitor film, carton and rework yields Monitor changeover and machine downtime Achieve schedule attainment within prescribed standards Achieve accuracy on harvest estimate Monitor breaks and lunches Train employees to meet operating procedures Assure baggers are meeting standards, such as uptime efficiencies, bags per minute Conduct tailgates and lead exercise routines at shift start each day Any and all other duties assigned by your Supervisor
