Package Designer
Description We are in search of a talented Package Designer to join our team in the Food Store Retail industry. This role is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and provides a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Package Designer, you will be tasked with creating compelling package designs for both licensed and non-licensed products, working closely with internal teams to ensure consistency across product lines, and preparing files for release and prepress. Responsibilities: • Designing product packaging and materials in line with brand guidelines • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure unity across product lines • Creating 3D renders for product and packaging presentation • Preparing files for release and prepress • Applying legal lines, warning, and other UPC information in accordance with FDA standards • Communicating scheduling with coordination teams • Proofreading works for approval • Understanding structural packaging, materials, and production processes for dieline modifications • Creating spec sheets, preparing and printing sample art, photography and editing, product copy, maintaining brand guides and assets • Utilizing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Brand Awareness, Communication, Customer Service, 3D Rendering, Packaging and Labeling, Packaging Design, Style Guides, Licensing, Generics, 3D Design, and 3D Visualization. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Package Designer role or similar • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, encompassing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop • Demonstrated ability in 3D Rendering, 3D Design, and 3D Visualization • Solid understanding of Packaging and Labeling principles and Packaging Design techniques • Experience with the development and implementation of Style Guides • Knowledge of Licensing and Generics within the retail food store industry • Strong Brand Awareness skills with the ability to align packaging designs to a brand's identity and goals • Excellent Communication skills to clearly express design concepts and ideas • Proven Customer Service skills, showcasing the ability to understand and meet client needs in a retail setting Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
