Lead the team in the design, development, and testing of battery packs for utility scale BESS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex issues related to battery packs and support continuous improvement initiatives.  Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in battery technology to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, project management and quality assurance teams to integrate battery packs into larger energy storage systems and ensure seamless operation. Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of battery packs. Implement robust safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks associated with battery packs. Contribute to the development of the overall energy storage strategy and participate in strategic planning activities.

Interfacing with vendors/ suppliers and driving value engineering initiatives for cost reduction and technology superiority

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
