This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The PACE Clinical Dietitian is an expert in human nutrition arid medical nutrition therapy. The Clini c al Dietitian assesses nutritional status of participants based on their individualized needs and goals and develops and implements corresponding nutrition care plans. The role of the Clinical Dietitian is to evaluate current nutrition status, formulate interventions, reassess for changes and record ongoing nutritional progress. The Clinical Dietitian is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, helping participants and their support system to ensure patient-centered care is achieved. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition. Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Illinois and Michigan) or must become registered within 6 months of hire. Experience: A minimum of one-year experience in working with the frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than 1 year of experience but meets all other requirements. Must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring. Licensure/ Certification: Must have current BLS certification. Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligible (Illinois) Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligible (Illinois) Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
