Our client, a leading player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Packaging Operator
**Location:** Zebulon, NC
**Pay Range:** $18.00 for day shift operators and $18.50 for night shift operators
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate and monitor packaging equipment while ensuring compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.
+ Participate in maintaining inspection readiness of the area with minimal supervision.
+ Utilize performance data to identify and escalate any issues affecting product quality and safety.
+ Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
+ Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical environments.
+ Able to lift up to 40 lbs. of materials.
+ Willingness to work shifts of up to 12.5 hours as required.
+ Strong understanding of production processes and equipment operation.
