What You'll Do

As a Practice Area Senior Coordinator (PAC) role within BCG's Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) Practice Area, you will own and drive defined, large or complex PA activities or processes with minimal guidance, supporting the management of practice initiatives.A core part of this role is to interact directly with PA leadership around a number of PA initiatives including PA meeting preparation, steering committee call scheduling, affiliation and drafting internal communications.In addition, you will support seat-at-the-table ( SATT) events by screening competitor activities, doing ad hoc research of selected conferences and events, and supporting the invitations process. This includes the execution and support of conferences, events as well as tracking and reporting of marketing activities, coordination of communication activities and platforms.You will coordinate across different MSP topics and regions on various initiatives including events, affiliation, marketing. You will act as PMO for PA events, effectively driving the coordination and management of internal events.
You will also support global people related initiatives and effectively advise the core group on PA affiliation levels.You will own PA reporting – carrying out raw data pulls and creating slides and be familiar with key experts, topic level strategy etc. You’d help liaison with industry PAs and associations that the sector partners with.

What You'll Bring

4-6+ years relevant experienceBachelor's degreeThe ability to handle defined PA processes or smaller projects with minimal guidance (sourcing, learning programs, etc.)The ability to make independent decisions within existing guidelines, advising more junior team membersExceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, follow-through, ownership and accountabilitySolid analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinkingOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitudeAdvanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Who You'll Work With

You will coordinate closely with Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Director, sector/topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside other Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.

As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
