PA / Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services aligned with business needs Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure effective communication Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages Analyse historical sales data to make informed buying decisions Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize cost savings Track market trends and provide insights to support purchasing strategies Process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries for on-time arrival Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure data integrity in systems Work closely with internal teams to streamline procurement processes Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices Criteria for the role:
Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field 1-2 years of buying or procurement experience, preferably in FMCG Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Knowledge of procurement software would be an advantage Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data effectively Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) Residing in or near the Northern Suburbs is preferred
