External Job Description
The Loader/Unloader is responsible for loading outbound trucks using a Forklift and a RF scan gun. At times will need to unload the truck and reload it to adjust weight discrepancies on the trailer. Job duties are accomplished using a Powered Industrial Truck. Must be willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed. During the shift, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and bend, squat, and frequently lift, push, and pull 70 to 90 pounds cases in a work environment with temperatures ranging from 30° to -10°F. Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb.
Other duties assignment by management.
This position is responsible for operating a forklift to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the shipping and receiving process, verifying, counting, and stacking. This position also requires basic computer knowledge, simple math, continuous work in subzero temperatures, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
