dedicated People & Organization (HR) Business Partner and Industrial Relations Specialist to join us in fostering
strong collaborative ties within our organization in our Smart Infrastructure business. The People & organization
business partner would be responsible for all P&O related topics at Goa Location.
Goa being a growth location for Smart Infrastructure business with an approx. total HC approx. 1100, including 3rd
party contract laborers) this position is one of the most challenging and impactful ones in the Smart Infrastructure
P&O team.
Working Partners include Location in Charge, Factory Managers, All Employees, Union Members, Global Business
Services, Business Unit Heads, Contract Staffing, Siemens Real Estate, Health Management, Global Learning Team,
Government Authorities, Apprentices, CII & GCCI. The role structurally reports to the Smart Infrastructure EA P&O BP
and closely with SL IR Head.
The P&O Business Partner and Industrial Relations Professional will play a pivotal role in shaping the local Smart
Infrastructure People Strategy at Siemens. This individual will be responsible for translating the overarching strategy
into tangible P&O goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Siemens' global vision and the specific needs of the
local business landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and communicate the India People Strategy, collaborating closely with leadership teams to
translate it into actionable P&O goals and initiatives.
• Drive the Future Skills agenda by partnering with Siemens Headquarters and aligning with the local
business strategy.
• Build organizational capability by partnering with leadership teams, developing competencies, enriching
the talent pipeline, and coaching senior executives to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
• Lead discussions on workforce planning and organizational design changes, providing strategic
recommendations.
• Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, employee safety, and a growth mindset.
• Implement P&O programs and initiatives for Siemens India in consultation with the business and in line
with the Siemens India P&O program.
• Support the Talent Acquisition team in hiring critical resources, ensuring that hiring KPIs are met, and
playing a key role in the selection of candidates for the Internship Program.
• Facilitate changes to organizational culture and structure by adopting global initiatives like "Positive
Leadership" and "Customer First@ Smart Infrastructure," as well as developing local initiatives.
• Ensure accurate Employee Life Cycles Services and support through Shared Services colleagues
• You will be handling Governance of local labour laws and its compliances for Goa Locations in
collaboration with the Central Industrial Relations team and the Global Business Services team. Maintain
cordial employee and industrial relations at location.
• Represent Siemens Ltd for conciliation, labour & legal matters in collaboration with the Central Industrial
Relations team and the Global Business Services team. Participate in Long Term Settlement and analyses
benchmarking data around Goa. Advise Managers & Supervisors on disciplinary incidents and counsel
workmen.
