The Boeing Company is seeking a P123-RC - Q/R Support located at Huntington Beach, CA. This occupation requires the handling of parts and the updating of the company's record system. Receive, load, and unload all incoming or outgoing materials, parts, assemblies, equipment, tools, and supplies. Assign, file, and maintain a variety of clerical assignments requiring manual or automated input, maintenance, retrieval, and updating pertinent production data. Verify equipment, parts, assemblies, and loose items when shipping or receiving customer items. Perform identification and inspection for damaged items during packaging, crating, shipping, and delivery. Facilitate the flow of materials, fabricated parts, purchased parts, assemblies and tooling for Production, Assembly, Maintenance, Tooling; and support departments. Maintain, load, unload, store, mix, and disburse required inventory of chemicals, gases, assemblies, parts, tools, and equipment. May layout, fabricate, assemble storage, handles, wraps, packs, labels, stencils, marks, and dispatch containers and fixtures for shipment.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Huntington Beach, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Locate and facilitate the flow of materials, parts, assemblies, equipment, tools, and supplies orders through the ordering process, procurement, and shipping systems. Setup, control, and update manufacturing process system records to assure prompt handling according to priority assigned. Reconcile part number and quantities with shipping tags, packing sheets, and labels.
Check for engineering changes, planning, release errors, arrange for, and facilitate delivery of materials, parts, or tooling to and from customers. Prepare and process work sheet requisitions for purchase of critically needed materials.
Read and interpret work-authorizing documents, drawings, sketches, operation sheets, and engineering orders to facilitate the elimination of shortages. Must have knowledge of the automated production control system, schedules, shortages, manufacturing and test operations, and availability of materials.
Conduct surveillance checks of shipped and received items for damage and workmanship. Verify that order requirements and inspection outlines are complete and note deviations from blueprints or specifications. Stamp or otherwise approve acceptable items and complete paperwork.
Store, issue, receive, record, and Identify materials, assemblies, parts, cutting and hand tools precision reassuring Instruments, and portable power tools. Disburse and deliver chemical, gasses, and miscellaneous related items. Check specifications maintain, and record serial numbers, quantum’s, conditions, and certification data of calibrated crib Items. Validate shipments and maintain inventory. Prepare orders to replenish stock, update calibrations and certifications, and refurbishes damaged or worn items.
Determine priorities or orders and determine practicability of splitting orders utilizing factors of setup time, tooling requirements, operation sequences, and effect on subsequent functions. Perform follow-up Work on materials, purchased parts, fabricated parts, assemblies, and tooling by tracing them to the source and instigate necessary action to relieve' shortages
Perform sorting, addressing, and stamping. Setup, compile drawings, and data for new Jobs. Post changes to line position books, inspection records, parts involved lists, assembly outlines, shop orders, or tool orders. Retrieve and update data. Initiate, prepare, and devise methods or means of identifying’s posting, reconciling, sorting, filling auditing, and interpreting various types of production data in accordance with established procedure or practice.
Determine from blueprints, sketches and written or verbal intrusions the method and sequence of operations. Obtain dimensions and amount of material required for fabricating, assembling, and shipping. May seal cartons with tape or lead seals, labels cartons, or boxes appropriate with stencils according to shipping instructions. May build crating fixtures, perform saw operations, block, tie down, pad, nail, reinforce. Secure, and brace shipment to prevent damage.
Investigate processing and packaging inadequacies. Prepare paperwork for rework or rejections noting. Deviation from specifications on dimensions, finishes, material or quantity. Stamp or otherwise approved acceptable parts and complete paperwork.
Contact proper departments or individuals to obtain necessary action or information and followup details for reply to the customer. Circulate information relative to contract specifications and other documents. Operate power trucks, fork lift hand trucks domes, slings and hooks, ground or overhead cranes and hosts to complete task
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift
Experience with Shipping & Receiving, along with material storage, record keeping and shop floor knowledge of material handling
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary Pay Range: $22.00/hr – $41.39/hr
