Overnight Sanitation Team Member

$18/hr + $1/hr Shift Differential

Monday - Friday, 9PM-6AM + One weekend night every other weekend

Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We’re hiring Overnight Sanitation Team Members to join the production team of our client company located in the Algona, IA area to help ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and fully compliant with food safety standards.

As part of our sanitation crew, you’ll be responsible for deep cleaning equipment and production areas, reassembling machinery, completing HACCP documentation, and supporting their commitment to food safety and quality. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean and safe environment, preparing the facility for the next day’s operations.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize equipment, including pumps, presses, and breakers. Disassemble, clean and reassemble machinery correctly Follow all company safety, sanitation, and operational policies, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO). Accurately complete all required documentation and report any maintenance or safety issues. Assist in training new team members on proper sanitation procedures. Support production needs as required during the shift. Understand and adhere to GMP, SQF, and food safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols. Willingness to work overnight shifts with consistent and reliable attendance. Strong communication skills to report issues and follow instructions. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in sanitation or food production is preferred
