Job Description

The role of the Night Desk Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate all night time front desk and  audit functions, execute computer maintenance requirements, and ensure all financial transactions for the day are verified and balanced.

Responsibilities Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni’s Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures. Where applicable, ensure process meets Forbes Service StandardsBe actively engaged with our guests. Identify the needs of our guests and meet these needs, aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunityBalance daily posting and revenue, and resolution of inaccuraciesFully knowledgeable in all emergency  proceduresDistribution of all nightly reportsEfficiently process guaranteed no show billingsHandle Express Check-outs ensuring their completionTrain and supervise Night Desk Clerks and 3rd shift Front Office staffEnsure adherence to all systems and control proceduresEnsure that that 3rd shift Night Desk checklist and responsibilities are completedIn absence of MOD, conduct property walk and  complete overnight MOD report Qualifications Previous customer service experience Previous cash handling experiencePrevious hotel experience highly preferredAbility to stand for an 8 hour shiftAbility to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions Ability to assist the Overnight Manager in holding the team accountable for their assigned responsibilities Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) with guests, associates and vendorsMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekendsStrong computer skills (Synergy, Nucleus, Epitome, Vision, GoConcierge, Microsoft Office)
