Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: + Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and ensuring production requirements are met for all aspects of banquet, outlet desserts, breads and breakfast pastries\. + Monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality\. + Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with health department regulations **\.** + Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes\. + Prepares and bakes all breakfast pastries, breads, rolls and some desserts for restaurants and banquets\. + Ensures spoilage and waste are kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products\. + Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings + Bring creativity to the pastry offerings + Coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation + Plan production to facilitate daily requirements + County of San Diego Food Handlers Card is required + **Position is for the overnight shift** **What are we looking for?** Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry\.
