As a member of the Outsourced Solutions for Financial Services team, the Manager is responsible for managing multiple client engagements simultaneously and works with staff to coordinate workflow. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

A Manager develops and coaches staff and establishes relationships to develop new business for the Firm. Performance is judged based on management and leadership skills, quality of work, ability to meet time constraints and practice development. You will provide outsourced accounting and controller services for financial services clients, including hedge, private equity and venture capital funds, including related management companies.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

Serve as main point of contact with our clients while supervising various staff accountants across multiple geographic locations

Oversee daily operations related to the recording and reconciliation of clients’ investment portfolios

Assist with internal projects to improve operational efficiency

Review client reporting, including financial statements, investor allocations and distribution waterfalls, and budgeting

Oversee year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax preparers

Demonstrates a high level of technical proficiency. Keeps informed of current technical developments and pending matters important to the Firm, the profession and clients

Participates in the supervision, training and staff development

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent training and experience

At least 5 years’ experience demonstrating a progression in complexity of responsibilities

Good knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting for investment companies

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with portfolio accounting and investment management platforms including Advent Geneva (and related products), FundCount, Enfusion

Ability to work with and develop team members

Team player with strong communication and analytical skills

Strong time management and organizational skills

Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems including QuickBooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur, Expensify

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $85,000.00 and $150,000.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
