An Outside Operations Attendant at Lyman Orchards Golf Club will be tasked with multiple daily functions including golf cart fleet management (i.e. cleaning, staging), driving range maintenance, and assisting with tournament operations. They will also be tasked with providing excellent customer service to the patrons of the golf club as they arrive and when they come back from their round.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a team environment Able to physically exert themselves safely when needed Position requires walking and standing for the majority of day Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be 18 years old and possess a driver’s license Must have weekday and weekend availability Baseline knowledge of the golf operation

 

Responsibilities

Work both opening and closing shifts during the week and on the weekends Safely stage carts throughout the day ensuring cleanliness Clean carts as they come in and return to staging area, power washing them and removing all trash and excess tees, pencils from the dashboard Communicate with other staff members to ensure maximum efficiency Provide strong customer service to patrons by greeting them at bag drop station, loading their bags on to the carts, and giving them direction Pick the driving range as directed, includes washing the picked golf balls and feeding the golf ball hopper Check driving range status and report to Pro Shop Pick up range baskets that are left on the range tee periodically Assist with the flow of outings and tournaments Ensure cart barn and range areas maintain cleanliness on a daily basis
