Could you be the full-time Maintenance Supervisor in Whitby, Canada  we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your railway, maintenance, and leadership experience in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to our Site Production Manager Services in Toronto, and work alongside a diverse and goal focused teammates.

You'll review workloads and assign appropriate staff to complete the repairs, maintenance, or trip and brake inspections in a timely fashion. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams and customers across the business to plan work schedules and assignments to ensure that equipment is being serviced within the maintenance guidelines and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

Monitor equipment servicing repairs, by auditing staff and completed tasks; Ensure appropriate material is on-site to expedite repairs; Perform audits and safety walks; Monitor work order completion using Maximo, and employees' timekeeping using Kronos. Ensure trains are dispatch ready and dispatched on time.

Post secondary degree cobined with relevant experience. Strong experience and understanding of the Rail industry Good knowledge of mechanics. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
