Position Summary

To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Assist in patient intake process

Provide injections of long acting injections

Maintain schedule and collect patient data for metabolic monitoring

Group facilitation

Management of patient medical emergencies and crisis

Patient Safety

Attend Staff Meetings

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Nursing Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:

Required:

1-year psychiatric nursing experience

Preferred:

1- year psychiatric Outpatient experience

License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Current New Jersey LPN License, CPR certified

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients
