About the Role:

The primary function of a Retail Outlet Sales Associate is to represent Bob’s Discount Furniture and its products with honesty and integrity while guiding the customer through the sales process.

Responsibilities

Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and respectful attitude.

Achieve monthly sales goals and key metric targets.

Partner with management for sales performance improvement.

Learn and sell merchandise features and benefits.

Involve management in overcoming customer objections.

Participate in meetings, workshops, and training.

Maintain store appearance and handle damaged merchandise.

Price and tag Outlet merchandise.

Assist in merchandise assembly.

Adhere to work schedule, attire, and shift requirements.

Stage Showroom/Outlet for merchandise receipt.

Assist in inventory and merchandise relocation.

Observe safety requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Tech-forward, fast learner.

Excellent presentation, verbal, and listening skills.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.

Ability to understand and communicate information effectively.

Good coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Career minded with capacity to grow professionally.

A team player with a desire to exceed expectations.

Customer Service experience.

Physical Requirements

Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Ability to move throughout all areas of stores.

Stand or sit continuously to perform job functions.

Visually able to perform essential job functions.
