We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outbound Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for proactively reaching out to current customers, following up on sales qualified leads (SQL) and driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Prospecting and Lead GenerationProactively identify and research potential opportunities within the customer base in target markets.Contact sales qualified leads through follow-ups on nurture campaigns, emails, and other outreach efforts generated by marketing.Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools.Sales Outreach and EngagementInitiate meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions around emergency preparedness and compliance.Schedule and conduct meetings or product demonstrations to convert leads to sales opportunities.Follow up on all leads and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.Responsible for remaining aware and knowledgeable of promotional programs and merchandising-marketing approaches by reading Marketing communications.Attends vendor product training sessions and participate in ongoing training for HealthFirst.Pipeline ManagementTrack and manage sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.Provide monthly pipeline forecasts and updates on sales progress to the Sales Manager, using Salesforce and other sales reporting tools. Relationship BuildingDevelop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients through via phone, email, and video conferencing.Act as the main point of contact for any customer sales activity and product support guidance. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to enhance customer experience.Performance Metrics and ReportingMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Prepare and deliver regular reports on outreach activities, lead generation, and sales performance.Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs and conventions as required

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:   

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong selling, customer service and negotiation skills.  Good telephone etiquette with the ability to call out to and answer a high volume of calls.  Ability to effectively answer inquiries and resolve disputes.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically, 2 to 4 years of related professional experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or a similar role.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Remote environment. No special physical demands required. Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs and conventions as required.

KNOWLEDGE: Intermediate level professional; developing knowledge within own discipline. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity required to perform tasks. Frequently apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

COMPLEXITY: Work on problems of limited to moderate scope and impact where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practice to determine appropriate action. Build productive internal/external working relationships.

SUPERVISION: Receive a moderate level of instruction on day-to-day work and detailed instruction and guidance on new projects or assignments.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.

 The posted range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a commission not reflected in the posted range.
