Outbound Call Centre Sales Agent / Telesales Agent
In order to be considered the following is required:
High School diploma and Bachelor’s degree Proven experience as a Telesales Agent, driving and meeting sales targets, selling solutions not a product Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software), omnichannel and telephone systems Ability to learn about products and services and describe / explain them to prospects Zendesk proficiency is a plus Good knowledge of relevant computer, omnichannel and telephone systems Excellent knowledge and communication of English, both verbal and written Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities Highly motivated individual Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to offer excellent customer service regardless of the outcome Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Results-driven with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment NOTE: Regular shift hours: Monday to Friday, from 08h00 – 17h00 or 10h00 – 19h00
Flexibility needed: Working hours may extend into the weekend or after hours during the week, depending on the dynamic strategies
 
Responsibilities:
Contact customers: Conduct outbound sales calls and communication to potential customers Understand and respond to customer needs:
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and preferences Answer questions about products or the company Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed Handle objections and negotiate to close sales deals Customer relationship management:
Set the precedent for strong customer relationships Preserve the company’s reputation should issues arise Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales Sales and performance:
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics Fulfil monthly and yearly sales targets Record keeping and database management:
Accurately enter and update customer information in the platform Maintain accurate records of activities and customer interactions in the platform Order Processing:
