Due to the expansion of our successful Breakfast and After School Club, Governors are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed playworker to support the running of the school’s wrap around provision. The postholder will use their skills to support and deliver activities and provide a stimulating, nurturing environment.  The successful candidate will have a confident, calm and patient approach and have high expectations of behaviour. 

The days of work will be Monday to Friday 7:30am to 8:45am and 3:15pm to 6:00pm during term time.  Applications from people who may not wish to work all days or shifts are encouraged.

St Joseph’s is a thriving Catholic Community with 345 children on roll, including a Nursery. We have happy children who are eager to learn and a dedicated, friendly and supportive staff team. 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and will follow a stringent vetting and induction process.
