The cast tech is certified by the ASOP and is responsible for general casting, splinting, bracing, DME fitting and application and removal of such as necessary in accordance with standards under the supervision of Md. Cast tech may also instruct pt how to walk with crutches, cane, move with casts and exercises. **Qualifications** High School Graduate or GED, medical terminology course helpful. Minimum 2 years orthopedic and/or Sports Medicine experience. Active BLS.
