Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a member of Lahey Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology. This position is based at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA and at Lahey Medical Center, Peabody, MA
In this role, you will focus on providing specialized care in orthopedic oncology for adult patients, bringing a strong clinical background, a commitment to education, and an interest in research. Our team-based approach gives each patient benefits from the specific expertise of a group of 19 providers that include surgeons specializing in General Orthopaedics, Adult Reconstruction, Foot & Ankle, Sports, Hand/ Upper Extremity, Trauma & Fracture Care, Medical Podiatry, and is supported by the expertise of Advanced Practitioners. We partner with Hospital Medicine in our co–management program to manage our medically complex patients.
Although this position is defined as a fully independent oncology program at LHMC, this role additionally allows for direct communication and collegial relationships with the Musculoskeletal Oncology Program at BIDMC. Future direct relationships with Dana Farber Cancer Center are expected to come into fruition in the near future.
Our residency training program is an affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is an academic affiliate of Tufts School of Medicine.
