Reporting to the Global Head of Change and Organizational Readiness, this position will lead and/or support the strategic planning and operational implementation of change management to enable project success during times of transformation and change. The incumbent will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals by providing People & Culture (P&C) strategic advisement and support across the change lifecycle (i.e. Change Management Approach, Execution, Monitoring, Sustainment, etc.) whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy and culture.
The Organizational Change Consultant will plan and execute change management activities to support the adoption of new operating models/structures, ways of working, processes, and technology, helping us achieve our strategic ambitions. The incumbent will also be responsible for the development of change management assets/materials needed based on the defined approach, manage and monitor the change as part of the project team, and suggest reinforcements to support the transition. At times, the incumbent may lead a community of Change Leads and animate activities to provide the infrastructure to develop and execute change across multiple geographies or business units/functions. As a member of the P&C Strategy and Portfolio CoE, the incumbent will be expected to work in close partnership with the business leaders, project teams, and the rest of the P&C community across the geographies.
The incumbent will be strategic, knowledgeable about people & culture (human resources), change management, organizational development, implementation, and monitoring. Previous experience in global, regional, and country roles is highly preferred.
Main responsibilities:
• Manage and Collaborate with Stakeholders – Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with key project or business/function leaders, serving as a reliable advisor for change initiatives.
Additionally, work with stakeholders to co-create initial approach for sustained success, facilitate stakeholder meetings to achieve key decisions, and regularly provide updates and status throughout the project.
• Deliver OD/Change Management Support - Provide effective Org Design and Change support to projects, maintaining a focus on delivering a positive experience to project team members from the business or function, and achieving strategic outcomes.
• Conduct OD/Change Impact Assessments - execute organizational assessments and perform stakeholder and business impact analyses to understand business gaps, future state needs, and after the design phase determine what is changing and who is impacted, to inform the development of data driven OD/change plans.
• Develop and Implement OD/Change Management Plans – Plan and deliver change management activities, in partnership with other key teams (i.e. Communications), to drive adoption of new ways of working, processes, and technologies, to address organizational challenges, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and minimizing disruption.
• Develop OD/Change Management materials – Assist in the preparation and distribution of org design or change management materials that support the impacted audience groups to aid in the understanding and adoption of change.
• Facilitate Business Readiness Activities - Evaluate business readiness, work with others across the project and business/function to manage outstanding readiness items, and support Go/No-Go decisions to confirm organizational preparedness.
• Provide Advice and Consultation - Offer advice and hands-on support to project resources, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timely delivery of OD/change management activities to impacted audience groups.
• Support Community Collaboration - Participate in OD/Change & Transformation community activities, contributing to internal collaboration, skill development, and best practices sharing.
• Apply Project Management Practices - Utilize project management tools and methodologies, including milestone tracking, status reporting, deliverables follow-up, and issue/risk management, to ensure successful execution of change initiatives.
• Coordinate International Projects - Manage time effectively and coordinate tasks within a dynamic global environment, collaborating across functions/diverse teams and time zones to achieve objectives.
• Monitor and Measure Org Change Effectiveness - Use data and feedback to track progress, analyze effectiveness, and recommend reinforcements to optimize adoption and engagement. And measure change impact using standardized KPIs, providing insights to guide continuous improvement.
• Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives – Gather feedback and brainstorm with others on enhancements to OD/change management assets by integrating lessons learned, and feedback.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Change Management or Project Management experience. International exposure is desirable.
- Ability to manage change in a cross-functional organization while being flexible and adaptable to work in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams and to build and maintain strong relationships with key local and global stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal English) to clearly articulate key messages to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks, working in an international environment across time zones.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with business acumen.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Fluent in English.
