Job Purpose

To influence and implement strategically sound OD practices and processes aligned to Nedbank Wealth Centre and Wealth Management SA business practices for sustainable organisational development & and effectiveness that will benefit and drive a positive culture and employee experience for Nedbank and drive business effectives through culture and change initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities Build credible business partnerships through professionalism and quality of advice and leadership. Engage various stakeholders deliberately and proactively through communication, collaboration and dedicating time. Influence and coach key stakeholders to enable effectiveness of organisational development and change. Build change management capability by role modelling the competencies of change leadership. Analyse and interpret culture and business indicators through observation in order to consistently deliver on business needs. Build trust through integrity and ethical behaviours  Co-create various strategic plans by making contributions that help determine the strategic people management enablers, contribute to and challenge the relevant business cases. Articulate people impact required by integrating various diagnostic indicators. Design change and/or communication plans or frameworks by applying or integrating Organisational Development models and methodology. Implement innovative OD and change practices through the design and development of initiatives. Plan and execute specific key strategic initiatives by applying project management principles. Facilitate talent management conversations and integrate talent management practices by engaging with different clusters. Collate and present business reports that highlight the progress; value add and possibilities for further growth and development. Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives. Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy. Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank. Coordinate cost effective interventions by assessing business requirements and needs and sourcing appropriate internal or external solutions. Manage and optimise own business expenses in relation to the outputs or delivery of the role by aligning to the agreed budget or transfer pricing. Deliver on business requirements by prioritising and planning own activities in relation to the agreed requirements. Give advice on the improvement of business effectiveness by assessing and analysing various business indicators and putting forward recommendations. Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and ensuring delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned. Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management. Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe. Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction. Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations.
  Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree Preferred Qualification Masters Degree Registered Industrial psychologist with HPCSA Essential Certifications Preference for registration with Health Professions Council as Psychometrics or Psychologist Minimum Experience Level Minimum 5 years psychometric and related consulting.  Minimum 8 years organisational development and effectiveness consulting experience in a complex environment. Relevant accreditations in change management (preferably PROSCI) and/or team development instruments (i.e., Insights) and/or coaching.  Exceptional facilitator up to Senior Management level.  Experience (not exposure) in talent management / development / strategic workforce planning. Proven track record of successfully implementing organisational development and change management initiatives.
