Organic Search Optimization Intern

Reporting to the Manager of Search Engine Optimization, the Organic Search Optimization (SEO) Intern will play a crucial role in enhancing Edgewell's online visibility. This individual should have a keen interest in online consumer shopping behavior, optimizing web content for search engines, analyzing organic search data, and implementing strategies to improve search rankings. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of collaborating across various teams, including Brand, eRetail, and Social Media.

Responsibilities:
•    Support Digital Search & Performance Marketing tasks for lines of business, including Shave, Grooming, Sun, and Skin. 
•    Conduct analysis of organic search data sets, including keyword performance, keyword ranking, and website traffic to provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams (Brand Strategy, Innovation, eCommerce Sales).
•    Use data from eRetail traffic and sales and Google search to inform content creation and contribute to new and existing product copy optimization.
•    Audit current product detail pages (PDPs) and look for opportunities to improve descriptions with SEO keyword optimizations and other relevant updates (e.g., How to, Q&A). 
•    Leverage Generative AI to help with optimizations across eRetail platforms (e.g., Amazon) and brand sites (e.g., schick.com). 

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
•    Currently pursuing or obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large sets of data.
•    Willingness to collaborate with team members from various disciplines.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to blend creativity and analytical thinking to derive actionable insights.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
•    Understanding of SEO basics. 
•    Experience with data analysis.
•    Experience with eRetail platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target. 
•    Familiarity with any 3rd party digital measurement tools.
