Our client, which provides food products is looking to hire a Freezer Order Selector for the Ephrata, Lebanon, Lancaster, Jonestown, PA, areas. The ideal candidate would need 1 to 2 years of experience operating high-reach forklifts or similar heavy equipment. Responsibilities include working effectively in a cold environment, with temperatures potentially below 10°F (-12°C).

The Day-to-Day:

Select and prepare orders from frozen inventory using a high-reach forkliftLoad and unload pallets of frozen products into and out of the freezerUse RF Scanner to select and prepare orders accuratelyVerify order accuracy and completeness before releasing to shippingMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocolsCollaborate with warehouse team members to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work in cold temperatures, with proper gear provided (except boots)Strong attention to detail and ability to work accuratelyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift heavier items with assistanceAbility to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, and climb stairs (if necessary)
