Order Management Lead
Your role and responsibilitiesThe Order Management Specialist will be responsible for internal and external customer care (e.g. technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordination of relevant functions to have complete case ownership in Pinetops, NC ensuring customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is onsite in Pinetops, NC in ABB's manufacturing facility (#LI-Onsite).You will be mainly accountable for:- Owning the order management cycle from receipt of order through commission and post-delivery customer support, ensuring specifications and commercial contractual requirements are fully met. - Pro-actively communicating with customers and internal functions to guarantee customer satisfaction by providing all relevant information. - Coordinating directly with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping to ensure that the orders are completed and ship on time. - Ensuring the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or associates with 10 years and HS with 12 years; or alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in customer service. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.Previous experience in a manufacturing setting (Electrification would be a plus) is preferred.Previous ERP experience strongly preferred (SAP is ideal).Strong knowledge of ABB systems, SPINE, SAP, SOM, would be a plus. This role does not include relocation. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
