Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Order Management to join the Lighting Sector Finelite Team in Union City, CA. Management of complex projects from submittal stage through release. Assist Customer Support and Outside Sales with order activities, project management strategy and database maintenance. Provides cross-functional coverage for roles within the Agent Services organization.
What Will You Do?
Analyze and process bill of material from Agent P.O., written lighting specifications, building plans or engineered drawing.Manage database that releases orders to the Operations team and work with Operations to ensure on-time delivery of product to customers.Work inter-departmentally with Engineering to generate bill of materials for tailored and custom projects. Perform take-offs from plans.Process HFR orders including revisions required by marked-up (redlined) submittal drawings.Provides backup support for absent department members and for overflow.Customer Service support as needed.Performs other similar and related duties as required. Experience:
3 years experience in customer or sales support or related field.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
The ability to read building plans and translate electrical, functional, and application specific details into shop drawings.Must have strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities while meeting bid deadlines. Must have ability to forecast workload and collaborate with department leadership to redistribute work as necessary.Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors. Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of ERP systems and CRM software is required. Must have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and a strong customer orientation.Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.Salary Range: $64,000-$72,000/annually
