Job Description

Our distribution business is experiencing transformative growth—with no end in sight. 

That’s why we’re looking for an Order Fulfillment Manager, 1st Shift for our Garland, UT, distribution center. In this role, you will plan, organize and lead order fulfillment, restocking and put-away activities at our high-volume distribution center. The position also requires ensuring your team maintains productivity, accuracy and safety standards for all put-away and stocking processes. The role is responsible for meeting Lakeshore standards through staffing, training, safety, continuous improvement and loss-prevention efforts. Applicants should be able to lead a crew while supporting rules and regulations. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements.

A day in the office looks like this: 

Planning and monitoring daily labor needs based on immediate and forecasted order and unit volumes   Creating and implementing standards and metrics for the team    Understanding the goals for the day and providing motivation to ensure they are met accurately and efficiently; encouraging teamwork and obtaining a high level of associate morale and recognition   Ensuring our order fulfillment requirements are met on a daily basis  Working with the leadership team to effectively communicate achievements and challenges throughout the day   Complying with federal, state and local warehousing, materials handling and receiving requirements; enforcing safety policies and techniques    Ensuring the organization and physical appearance of the Order Processing department are in good standing order    Developing employee performance by appraising, coaching and counseling   Developing ongoing process improvements to ensure efficiency for all associates

Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum 3–4 years of leadership and performance management required   Minimum 3 years of experience with outbound/order fulfillment operations required   Ability to build a high-performance/engaged work environment   Results-oriented high achiever who strives for maximum service levels   Ability to problem-solve while keeping the needs of the customer and company in mind   Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail    Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team   Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously   Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for maximum efficiency Excellent written and verbal communication skills    Flexibility, dependability and disciplined professionalism
