Job Title: Order Entry Specialist
Job Description

The Order Entry Specialist will be primarily responsible for assisting company customers, both internal and external, with all aspects of service requests including order processing, warranty follow-up, and responding to all ongoing service needs. Based in the Minneapolis office, this role involves answering sales and technical support requests for product availability and order status, and coordinating activities with customers, other company entities, and Sales Representatives to process and ship orders. This temporary position is expected to last nine months, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

ResponsibilitiesKey customer orders into the company ERP (MAS) accurately and efficiently, obtaining clarification from the Customer, Sales Representative, Finance, etc., as necessary.Act as the primary point-of-contact to customers post-sale for non-technical problems and questions related to their order.Ensure customers' needs and expectations regarding their orders are met, following through with requests to completion or escalating when appropriate.Contribute to the maintenance of lasting relationships with customers through knowledgeable communication and proactive resolution of questions or issues.Manage all aspects of the order cycle as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.Effectively manage work situations of moderate complexity that could impact the company’s image and/or sales dollars and costs.Provide non-technical product and pricing information to customers through phone, email, or other channels as needed.Connect callers to appropriate departments as needed.Create and document service complaints in Salesforce for escalation/follow-up as needed. Complete Credit/Rebill or Credit/Reship RMAs in Sage ERP MAS 200 as needed. Determine and document the root cause of service complaints.Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and adhere to safety guidelines as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene, and Exposure Control manuals.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required.2+ years of order entry experience.Experience working with vendors on shipments.1+ years of experience using an ERP system.Customer service experience.Data entry skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Order processing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsSalesforce experience is a plus.Experience with SAP.Sales support experience.Order fulfillment skills.Strong computer skills.Vendor management experience.Logistics and shipments experience.Work Environment

Flexible hours - 8 hours within the 7:30 am to 8:30 pm timeframe.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
