Delta Global Staffing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc, has an immediate opening for a Jr Operations Job in Chicago, IL (ORD Airport) In this Jr Operations Job, candidates will initiate activities, actions and manage administrative procedures within his/her field of responsibility. It is expected that the position holder will be a ‘team player’ although capable of working alone while contributing to and achieving an overall team result.  RESPONSIBILITIES  Notification of relevant information to vendors and government agencies  Process of import and export cargo  Supervision of cargo build up on ULD's  Ensuring proper loading of DGR and supplying Captain with NOTOC (notification to Captain)  Performing a/c Weight and Balance  Supervise the loading and the offloading of the aircraft  Flight reporting  Record keeping  Managing CV equipment and inventory  Tracing of equipment and import/export cargo  Arranging for cargo transportation to final destinations (trucking)  Handling of claims  Ensuring all rules and regulations of appropriate government agencies are complied with;  Flight pre planning and coordination  Other related duties may be assigned as requested by the Operations Manager and/or Operations Supervisor as directed by the Sales or Station/Regional Managers.  QUALIFICATIONS The position demands a regular and full-time presence and requires also that vacation and other absences are planned in a way that they do not conflict with service requirements. Occasional travel may be required. Flexibility is needed with working hours. Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport. Work locations include CV and Handling Agent office areas, warehouse, ramp area and onboard aircraft.
