An Oracle HCM Payroll Functional Consultant (US Legislation) is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module to meet the specific needs of a client organization, ensuring accurate payroll processing by understanding business requirements, mapping them to system functionality, and providing ongoing support throughout the payroll lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• At least 2-3 Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or support exposure with module-leading hands-on experience in any of the two modules (First Module - Payroll, Second Module - OTL / Compensation).
• Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll: Thorough understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll features, configuration options, and best practices. (Candidates having exposure to US Payroll would be preferred).
• Payroll domain knowledge: Extensive knowledge of payroll regulations, calculations, tax rules, year-end processes, and compliance requirements across different regions.
• Business analysis skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design effective solutions within the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll system.
• Technical skills: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud infrastructure, data mapping, and integration points with other systems.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams, explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks within an implementation project.
