Description

Oracle Fusion Application Support Specialist will be responsible for support, maintenance, and assistance in the resolution of Oracle JDE and Fusion: business and technical support call resolution, changes, deployments, system defects, incidents. 

The candidate must be proficient in accounting and support of general ledger and related financial systems, specifically Fusion Accounts Payable, Expenses and Procurement, SQL as well as working in an Agile Development Methodology.  Independent and original thinking will be required. To meet expectations, the incumbent will have to solve complex issues as multiple systems, clients and technologies are involved and where not all the support information is readily available.

 

Experience, skill and capability

•    5+ years' experience in cloud based support and implementation
•    Provide day to day support for Core ledger application
•    To perform routine health checks and system availability
•    Business Call Resolution: Identify, analyse and resolve issues
•    Technical Call Resolution: Identify, analyse and resolve issues
•    Trend and Statistics as well as reporting, BI dashboard management and presentation thereof 
•    Fusion and JDE technical changes – largely configuration
•    Process and system analysis and design
•    Drafting of functional and technical specifications
•    Participate and provide input for problem resolution and root cause identification
•    Document system issues and resolutions for development and future reference
•    Incident Management: participate and provide input for incident resolution and root cause identification
•    Communicate with users to collect information about production issues
•    Deployments, release management, application management, debugging and testing
•    Provide after hours and on-call support
