As part of the European Vodafone Network Operation (VNO) organization, included in the Cloud&OSS department, the Infra&OS-DBA administration team is responsible for the maintenance of the infrastructure and the administration of Oracle DB in the network operations environment in Vodafone Germany
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Administration, Operation and Optimization of Oracle DatabasesTroubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to contribute to continuous improvements of delivered servicesReduce database downtime and control parameters to ensure quick query responses.Ensure SLAs and operational KPIs are fulfilled, collaborating with internal and external support departments as needed when large events occur.Ensuring Database Security. Implement and monitor security measures such as Oracle TDE and Oracle Database Vault to comply with corporate security policies.Operational Management of Exadata SystemsWith these skills you are a great candidate: Working experience on Administration of Oracle Databases and ExadataProficiency in SQL and SQL server toolsAdvanced understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirementsGood knowledge of planning and executing release updates, patches, and firmware upgrades for Oracle Engineered Systems and virtualized server platforms.Understanding of implementing cybersecurity measures to protect DBs.Familiarity with Oracle Exadata Database Machine for high performance workloadsGerman and English language (spoken and written)Must have technical / professional qualifications: German and English language (spoken and written)Administration of Oracle Databases Oracle Exadata Database Machine OperationsSounds like the perfect job?
