Oracle Database Administrator

If so, lets talk. **Your role and responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems. * Monitor database performance and optimize query execution. * Ensure database security and manage user access controls. * Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. * Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions. * Apply patches and upgrades as needed. * Collaborate with developers and IT teams to support database needs. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c). * Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database query tuning. * Basic understanding of database backup and recovery procedures. * Knowledge of Oracle database administration, installation, and configuration. * Experience with database monitoring tools. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Oracle RMAN for backup and recovery. * Exposure to Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and RAC. * Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting. * Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud, etc.). * Understanding of performance tuning techniques.
