\nAs an OR Nursing Supervisor, you play a key role in patient care. You coordinate with our nursing model. This role is fulfilling and central to our unit's mission and goals. You take on added responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your daily duties include assessing patient needs, identifying health responses, and creating a customized care plan. Success is patient outcome-based.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nYou'll do clinical assessments based on practice standards using clinical reasoning.\nIdentify key needs of patients, families. Develop, implement, reassess nursing care plan for clinical outcomes.\nYou will help maintain high nursing standards by evaluating our practice. You will earnestly participate in quality improvement.\nCreating a safe space for staff and patients is crucial. Manage emotional and physical pain to promote healing. Reduce discomfort.\nEvery patient is unique, and you'll recognise this by tailoring personal care plans based on these differences.\nYou will prioritize confidentiality, dignity, and patient rights. Your plans align with their values and goals.\nYou'll evaluate learning needs for patients, families, nursing staff, and healthcare team members. Facilitating their learning empowers them.\nYou will collaborate daily with colleagues and community members to create a care plan. Tasks will be delegated, and follow-up ensured.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nYou need good communication skills to connect with different groups.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving are essential.\nDelivering quality care is key.\nBasic computer skills are needed for tasks like scheduling, payroll, and medical documentation. Qualifications
You should have successfully graduated from a program.Your field of study should be Nursing.At least (2) two years of relevant experience to this role.You must be a Registered Nurse (RN).BLS certification must be obtain within 30 days if not already had.
