Primary Responsibilities:

End-to-End project ownership, Sample production and deployment Develop SAS jobs, monitor the jobs, scheduling, resolving the issues Contribute to design ETL workflows including extraction, transformation and loading Assist in sample production activities to support measurement of Optum’s Customer Experience Effectively juggle multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring work is accurate, neat and error-free Execute ad-hoc requests that support specific business requirements and data operations Engage in a collaborative work environment with other Strategic Insights team members in OGA and Onsite Estimate and communicate effective deadlines Effectively self-monitors project related follow up tasks (revision/changes/etc.) and escalate and address issues on projects proactively Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline 5+ years of hands-on experience 5+ years of overall experience in Data analytics or processing 3+ years of experience on working with onsite clients or stakeholders Experience working on highly complex technical projects Solid experience in Base SAS and Advanced SAS Experience in data extraction from different data sources like Oracle, DB2, snowflake and from the flat files Experience to massage the raw data to convert into meaning full data by using SAS features Experience in advanced SAS functionalities such as PROC SQL, PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE for data querying, manipulation, summarization and reporting Experience with SAS procedures and functions and different SAS formats or in formats Batch processing, experience with SAS in UNIX environment Experience with SAS job scheduling with airflow Experience with any of the reporting or dashboarding tools like power BI or tablue or Qualtrics Experience with SQL, joins or sub queries etc. Experience with excel Proven abilities to solve the data issues by providing valuable suggestions Demonstrated ability to perform data quality checks, validation and troubleshooting (error debugging) to ensure accuracy and reliability Demonstrated ability to create Data Sets and Programs, including tables, lists Demonstrated ability to write Macros and Import and Export Raw Data. Create and optimize SAS macros to streamline repetitive tasks and dynamic coding Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality and detailed designs Demonstrated ability to use coding standards and best practices to ensure quality Proven excellent analytical skills Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
