Essilorluxottica R&D Smarteyewear Lens ambition is to be at the leading edge of the technologies for Augmented Reality Eyewear and related solutions, Active lens like electrochromic or efocus

 

 

Your role

 

Main missions:

- Identify existing tools or develop new methodology for the characterization of smart optical components (mainly in the ARE field)

-  Build optical set up and validate the concept

-  Coordinate supplier activities to build an equipment (when required)

- Qualify the metrological performance of the tool/equipment

- Perform measurements campaign for characterization of components or sub system

 

The candidate will also work in close collaboration with teams based in Dijon (around 3 days per months shall be spent in Dijon).

 

 

Main requirements:

Master degree in  Optical Engineering – System Design and Simulation At least 3 years of experience in optical design in optronics system, from specifications, preliminary design , mock-up or prototype development, to product launch. Good knowledge about image quality Characterization & Photometry, Camera & Optical sensors. Experience with  Optical Simulation Software– Zemax Ideally some knowledge of images processing software (Matlab/Scilab, ImageJ , Solidworks/CAO software, metrology methodology (Gage R&R) Strong sense and interest in tangible things Strong teamworking skill Technical Communication Skills
