What you’ll do as a Power Operator You will operate equipment You will drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on job-site You will perform general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or Supervisor You will follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies You will demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally. You will restore grounds and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor. You will perform other duties as necessary. You will travel for storm response on short notice What you’ll need You are 18 years of age or older You are able to determine voltages and hazards associated with each. You have Six months supervised equipment operation You will read and understand minimum approach distances. You will complete OSHA 10hr Safety Training Program within 90 days of employment. You have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience You are authorized to work in the United States for this company You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent You have the willingness to work in a solo and team environment You have experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather You are a self starter You have effective communication skills You are able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
